It is unbelievable, but today there are at least 20 million people living
with diabetes in America and the sad part is that it was possible to prevent
and heal pre-diabetes and diabetes type 2 naturally with balanced nutrition,
and basic exercise. A new cell transplantation technique is being used by
researchers in order to repair the cells that produce insulin in patients
with type 1 diabetes. New studies evaluating the effects of
high-carbohydrate and high- monounsaturated fat diets indicate that patients
with type 2 diabetes suffered modestly raised blood pressure after being
exposed to 14 weeks of a high-carbohydrate diet compared to a diet high in
monounsaturated fat.
The research compared the effect of two same-calorie diets among 42 patients
with type 2 diabetes, who consumed each diet for 6 weeks, with about 1 week
between the two periods. According to the study, fifteen islet cell
transplantations were carried out to 13 patients with poorly controlled type
1 diabetes, two patients received two procedures to achieve correct needle
placement. Imagine being a child helplessly watching your mother (as in my
case) being slowly, inexorably, taken apart emotionally and physically by
the deadly combination of poorly controlled diabetes and untreated
depression.
Generally, if you are diagnosed with a Diabetes Type 2 since you are under
50 years old, then the probability for your child to have the same condition
is 1:7. If you have a Diabetes Type 1, the probability that your child will
have the same condition is 1:17. Well, regarding Type 1 diabetes a theory
that may prove correct or incorrect is that an autoimmune response may be
precipitated by on going stress of such intensity that the inflammation
caused by chronically high levels of cortisol leads to an immune system
malfunction.
Though the debate still continues as to the exact cause, Type 1 diabetes
(having to use insulin) is thought to be the result of an inappropriate
autoimmune response in the body. Government statistics show diabetes as the
6th leading cause of death in the United States. Damage to the nerves from
diabetes (diabetic neuropathy) is a leading cause of lack of normal
sensation in the foot, which can lead to wounds and ulcers, and all too
frequently to foot and leg amputations.
Damage to the kidneys from diabetes (diabetic nephropathy) is a leading
cause of kidney failure. Now, with the above in mind, the question is, how
the heck could a hurricane cause diabetes? Too much glucose (sugar) in the
blood for a long time can cause diabetes problems.
A study published in the 1997 issue of the Proceedings of the Fisher
Institute for Medical Research showed people with type 1 diabetes who were
given glyconutrients "…reported a dramatic improvement in their health,
including a decrease in vision problems, better wound hearing, less
infections, and lower blood pressure. A study published in the 1997 issue of

To treat type 1 diabetes a regime of self-monitoring the blood glucose level
(up to seven times a day), insulin injection (up to 3 times a day), exercise
and regular meals containing 45-50% carbohydrates and less than 30% fats.
It is estimated over 40 million Americans can be classified as
"pre-diabetes" meaning they have blood sugar levels higher than normal but
still below the type 2 diagnosis level which helps to define diabetes. The
good news is if you have pre-diabetes you can reduce the risk of getting
diabetes type 2 and even return to normal blood glucose levels if you follow
the guidelines in this article. By keeping your blood glucose under control,
you can reduce the risk of complications of diabetes up to 76%.
Knowing the importance of proper blood sugar control and having the tools to
do it in a natural manner can be extremely helpful in preventing the various
complications known to arise in uncontrolled diabetes. While there is no
cure for diabetes, the immediate objectives are to stabilize blood sugar and
eliminate any symptom or sign for diabetes and high blood sugar. Intricate
dietary methods are available for control of blood sugar in type 1 and more
severe type 2 diabetes.
2- The two most common types of diabetes are Type 1 and Type 2. There are
two types of diabetes, Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) also known
as juvenile-onset diabetes, type 1 diabetes and Non-insulin-dependent
diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) also known as maturity-onset diabetes, type 2
diabetes. Non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) also known as
maturity-onset diabetes, type 2 because it typically occurs in obese people
over 35 years of age, although some obese children have been diagnosed with
type 2 diabetes due to lack of exercise and poor diet.
For example, a simple heart healthy diet can work great for people with type
2 diabetes, but a type 1 diabetes person may require a different kind of
diet. Pre Diabetes or Borderline Diabetes may occur before a Type 2
diagnosis. 4) Finally, before helping a person with diabetes or depression,
you really need to know a great deal about both subjects.
Though previous studies showed that topical Retin-A was a bit helpful in
enhancing wound healing in patients with diabetes and some results were
discussed by different scientifics, a group of researchers tried to know if
tretinoin really helped or not to these patients. The researchers were
pleased with the results, although they were a bit concerned because
tretinoin irritates and they thought that the patients would become so
irritated that they wouldn't be able to continue the research. Through a
series of experiments, a group of researchers discovered that the brain
produces insulin and that this substance produced by brains of patients with
Alzheimer's illness tends to fall below normal levels.
During the early stages of Alzheimer's disease, brain levels of insulin and
its related cellular receptors fall precipitously, as her group of
researchers explained. The team discovered that the levels of insulin
receptors and the brain's ability to respond to insulin decreased as the
severity of Alzheimer's increased. According to the experts, insulin
receptors were nearly 80 percent lower than in a normal brain in the most
advanced stage of Alzheimer's.
According to the experts, the survey findings suggest that few Americans
with diabetes are aware of aspirin therapy and its cardio-protective
benefits. “Look to your health, and if you have it, praise God and value it
